Of course, it wouldn’t be American Horror Story without a last-minute twist that may or may not make sense, and Death Valley continues that tradition with a jam-packed finale episode that doesn’t necessarily tie up the plot, but definitely doesn’t lack for big, crazy ideas.
It took the full four episodes, but American Horror Story has finally tied its two story threads together using the most unlikely character.

It would be unthinkable otherwise to have such high skills and be unrecruited, it would also coincide with Ye Qiu's 'retirement' as Lord Grim pops up around then. Thus, as followers of the events in-game, the announcer is right to see Ye Qiu created a new account Lord Grim as it's publicly known information that's floating around all the guilds on the 10th server. I digress, Lord Grim is thus known to be played by Ye Qiu and Ye Xiu is seen as a sort of placeholder player instead of Ye Qiu as identities are strictly monitored in the CURRENT Glory scene unlike before when he used his brother's ID card to register instead. So, Lord Grim in-game is associated with Ye Qiu through and through after a point and his triumphs become a part for the course, gathering a large following of fans through both the fact that he is Ye Qiu and his successful wild hunts and dungeon runs, all of which play a massive part in showing the amount of effort required to become a pro and also the mountain Ye Xiu faces getting back into the pro scene. Ye Xiu never really made it a point to hide that he was Ye Qiu in-game, always blatantly revealing it just like he did with Chen Guo. This might be a spoiler, as far as I know, so proceed at your caution.
